Dan McCann

Director of Communications

Dan McCann manages marketing and communications efforts for Methodist Hospital Foundation, supporting the mission and the team through storytelling, grant writing and creative strategy.

Always with an eye on meaningful impact, he is energized by the challenge – and reward – of connecting community needs with donor generosity to advance our focus areas of cancer care, community services, charitable care and education.

Dan started his career producing television news at KMTV and WOWT in Omaha. He joined Methodist Hospital Foundation as director of communications in 2021.

Dan earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from Creighton University. He and his wife, Kelly, serve as national run/walk coaches for Team In Training, the world’s largest charity endurance training program.
