Maureen Irish

Director of Philanthropy

Maureen joined the Methodist Hospital Foundation in 2026. As the Director of Philanthropy, she leads The Meaning of Care Award, which gives patients and families the opportunity to recognize Methodist employees for the exceptional care they provide. She also oversees the Caring Campaign, Methodist’s annual employee giving initiative. 

Maureen enjoys working closely with corporate partners, employees, and donors, connecting passions with meaningful opportunities that create lasting impact and help transform lives.

Maureen has dedicated her career to philanthropy. Prior to joining the Foundation, she served as the Director of Annual Giving and Communications at Tabitha. She also spent five years with United Way of the Midlands, most recently as Vice President of Campaign Development. Earlier in her career, she served as Development Director for Roncalli Catholic High School for five years.

Her passion for philanthropy was fostered during her service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Armenia, where she spent more than two years teaching English and partnering with community leaders to write grants to support local community initiatives.
