Impactful Giving | Addressing period poverty in our communities. We'll be packing kits to help women in need, and we want everyone to pitch in.
As part of every Women Connect event, we invite attendees to support programs that make our communities healthier places to live. Each gift, any size, is appreciated. More important is the impact we can have together.
Thanks to everyone who joined us at our heart health event.
Kudos to you for taking the time to show your heart some love! Thank you also to our survivors who had the courage to share their stories and to our cardiology providers who shared their expertise and answered our questions.

Women Connect in the News
Heart disease is sometimes thought of as a “man’s disease,” but almost as many women die of heart disease each year in the U.S. In fact, we’re losing a woman to heart disease almost every minute. The death rate is 35 percent higher among Black women than their White counterparts.
We're grateful to WOWT-Channel 6 for helping us spread the word to women throughout our communities: your heart health deserves to be a priority! Watch the report here.
Impactful Giving | The power of women helping women
Your gifts during our first event sponsored a Methodist Mobile 3D Mammography visit to the Latino Center of the Midlands. On Nov. 18, more than a dozen uninsured women received potentially life-saving screenings because of you. That is the power of women helping women.
