Methodist Is Going Places! 

Grab your passport and join Methodist Volunteers In Partnership (VIP) on a journey to raise funds in support of our orthopedic, neurosurgery, and neurology patients. We’re setting our sights on a renovated space to better serve our patients and help them on the road to recovery.

6:00 p.m. | Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from around the world, bid on silent auction items, and take part in travel-inspired games and activities.

7:30 p.m. | The travel theme continues during dinner with Travel Trivia and more. Then, we’ll have one more chance to support orthopedic, neurosurgery, and neurology care at Methodist during the Raise the Paddle auction.

Methodist caregivers see the power of the human spirit every day. 

It’s a commitment to recovery after a stroke, spinal surgery or major joint replacement. It’s the drive to adapt to a life-altering neurologic diagnosis: Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, seizures and more. 

All funds raised during Going Places! will support the growth of orthopedic, neurosurgical and neurology care at Methodist Hospital. The goal is faster, safer returns home and fewer readmissions.

The ortho-neuro expansion includes:

  • The creation of a comprehensive education and treatment center
  • Redesign of two patient rooms to serve the specialized needs of complex neurologic patients and those undergoing same-day joint replacements

Together, we can ensure seamless care through each phase of recovery and have fun at the same time.
